- Glass Blowing Workshop At A Højskole
Højskole: Danish school for democracy.
They are founded by famous philosopher Gruntdvig who wanted to find a way for common people to educate themselves in order to participate in society. Private institutions that are not considered part of the formal education system. Various højskoles provide education for all sorts of specialties, but mostly are concerned with educating common people about politics, philosophy, society etc.

Glass blowing and making session begins.

Students live at the højskole in order to create a sense of community. The idea a is that the center of education is your home. Students eat, shower, clean, sing, talk, learn – they do everything together. A large part of the learning atmosphere is coming to understand others to understand oneself. – This højskole is arts based so they offer studio programs such as painting and glass blowing, also electronic music – other classes are politics, sociology etc. They also have an environmental activist group.
